ASEM seminar on credits and learning outcomes
Credit Systems and Learning Outcomes in ASEM Member Countries
At the second ASEM Education Ministerial Conference in Hanoi 2009 the Ministers welcomed the offer of Germany to host an ASEM seminar on credits and learning outcomes.

The seminar was organised by the ASEM Education Secretariat, established by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in September 2009 at the DAAD. The seminar was conceived as a platform for European and Asian higher education experts to present different models of credit systems and learning outcomes used in Asia and Europe as well as to exchange ideas on how to develop of a common understanding of these important tools for mobility and recognition of qualifications in Asia and Europe. The results and recommendations of the meeting will be transferred to the next ASEM Education Ministerial Conference which will take place in Denmark in 2011.
